The main character, played by Don Johnson, drove a cool 1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda convertible. Interestingly, Don originally wanted a Pontiac GTO Judge, but he ended up with the ‘Cuda convertible. Since only a few of those cars were made, they used movie tricks to make more. Don fell in love with a yellow ‘Cuda in an ad, but it did not look good on camera, so they went with a deeper yellow called Curious Yellow instead.
